Upton Pupils on their Annual Sponsored Walk
Read more about our pupils raising funds for Change a Child's Life charity.
On Friday 22 June the whole school community took part in the annual Sponsored Walk along the Wirral Way. This year the funds are being raised for an international charity called Change a Child’s Life, a charity set up by Lisa Brocklebank, a former pupil of Upton Hall School. Lisa, and her brother Paul, set up the charity over ten years ago following a visit to Kenya in eastern Africa. We are planning to build and equip a library for Maria Immaculata School in Nairobi.

The sponsored walk was led by Miss Green (Head of Outdoor Education), our thanks to her for organising a wonderful event.
Dining Room staff and Phil the Butcher from Heseltine’s in Upton Village served up a fantastic barbeque at Thurstaston for staff and pupils
The weather during the day was fabulous – unbroken sunshine with a cooling breeze – perfect for a walk.
The walk is over and now the hard work really begins as the pupils and staff collect their sponsor money. Thank you to all of the families and friends who are supporting us in this worthwhile venture by making a donation.
