Leavers’ Ball

Life in the Sixth Form concludes with two popular events, the ‘Going Down Mass’ and the ‘Leavers’ Ball’.

The ‘Going Down Mass’ is an integral part of our final celebrations of Year 13 students’ time at Upton Hall, and is intended to provide both parents and students with a spiritual finale to the girls’ school life, as well as marking the beginning of their future beyond Upton Hall.  It is often an emotional yet uplifting event that marks the end of our students’ time in the Sixth Form.

One of the most important dates in the school social calendar is the Leavers’ Ball, which takes place in July of each academic year. The evening always proves to be a popular and well attended event, with students’ families invited as part of the celebrations. Please click here for photographs of the Leavers’ Ball, which for the previous two years has been held at the Hilbark Hotel, Frankby.
