Year 7 History Trip to Conway
On Monday 23 April, all of Year 7 went on a day visit to Conway and Deganwy in North Wales.
The purpose of their visit was to extend their knowledge of Medieval Castles. We visited Conway Castle and conducted an archaeological examination of what made the Castle strong and how it had been adapted to resist attack over time.
We also visited Deganwy which was the site of an earlier castle and then made a comparison of the two locations to help us to understand why the later castle had been built in a different place to the original.
